2012 NOMINATION BEGIN NOW

As of October 10, 2012, two nominations are in for 2012

George Armson, George Shiels, Harry Twist, Mandy
LaPointe, Michael Olajide jr.,  Roger Adolph, 
Tony Duffy, The Cooke Family, Nanaimo Boxing Club,
1984 Junior National Boxing Championships and the
Senior Canadian Olympic box-offs.

January 31,  2012, two new nominees:
 GERONIMO BIE and WAYNE SPONAGLE
*Wayne is presently a coach at the Spruce Capital Warriors
boxing club in Prince George, and is well respected across
Canada.  Also, Wayne is a recent inductee into the 
Prince George Sports Hall of Fame. 


NANAIMO BOXING CLUB
Was formed in 1971 and has operated for over 40 years with
a variety of achievements.  In 1978, they began a tournament
that would be in operation until the Eighties called the
Bathtub Capital Golden Gloves Championships.  
Action in Nanaimo in the mid-Seventies with Bob Pegues vs Les Hamilton
and referee Joe Cooke (part of the Cooke family that has been nominatd).
